I predict this casino and/or any other casino that opens soon for gaming, will be as full as they allow it to be with people dying (pun intended) to play. I will be there on opening day to prove or disprove that statement. After all the crap that has been said here about the virus, let me know if you want to meet in the parking lot to tailgate or shoot the shit. Not to shoot each other.

I would go, but it won't be opening on that date. The guv won't allow it and it's up to first the gaming commission and then the board of supervisors (not the mayor). The whole group are puppets manipulated by the head fear monger Governor No Clue. The other west democratic governors wouldn't even let this numbskull into their CA-OR-WA planning group. I predict more protests.

WYNN Las Vegas starting taking reservations for Memorial Day weekend. These casinos have nothing to lose taking reservations but in no way is the Governor going to succumb to pressure. It matters little the level of the virus in the state of Nevada. How about if several hundred people fly in from the state of New York to stay there. If the asymptomatic theory holds true you could have several people spreading the virus throughout the casino. A city that draws it's visitors from all over the country can do little to prevent a second wave.

Casinos were operating up until march 17. I haven't even seen a first wave ..so far only 200 people are reported to have died from this out of 3 million in the state. The governor says great job everyone for staying home..bs I see people everywhere..just went to the strip tonight and was surprised at the huge turnout..looked like cruise night for teenagers and adults. Police were surprisingly cool as fuck with all the activity I witnessed while riding bikes with my friend. Sad to say that was the biggest event in the last 6 weeks of my life.

Thats the thing , it’s been here since Dec, “millions” would be dead if not lock down, but no lockdown really until mid / late March and like you said I see people out and about everywhere since then in large cities ! Not 6’ feet apart , packing stores that are open, playing volleyball and basketball , hanging out .....

The Nevada governor's approach is that he as to take care of us. While states all around us have innovated to improve testing (Utah), allowed elective surgeries (AZ) and teamed up to develop a cohesive plan (CA-OR-WA), we are in an isolated wasteland where, last week, he threatened to tighten the sanctions. You can still get pot in NV and his construction projects are still open, but he closes tennis courts, golf and drive in movies. The guy is reflective of our state...last in education, last in healthcare and those that don't have the talent/skills to work in hospitality join the government.
